Contract With NYSTEC

A New York State agency looking to contract with NYSTEC may utilize our OGS contract (number CMR524A) and follow these four simple steps:
STEP 1: The New York State agency must submit a Notification of Plan to Procure Technology Form (PTP) to the Office For Technology (OFT) for approval. For additional information about the CIO/OFT’s PTP process, please visit their website.
STEP 2: Request a Technical and Cost Proposal from NYSTEC.
STEP 3: Submit the Contract Encumbrance Request (AC-340), OFT Approval Letter and a copy of the Technical and Cost Proposal to the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) for approval. Include the original, signed copy of the Cost Proposal in the package to OSC.
STEP 4: After OSC approval, the Agency will provide NYSTEC with written authorization to begin work on the project and the vendor’s copy of the Contract Encumbrance Request (AC-340).

A local government entity in New York State that is looking to contract with NYSTEC should follow these four simple steps:
STEP 1: Meet with NYSTEC and define the project to be accomplished.
STEP 2: Request a Technical and Cost Proposal from NYSTEC.
STEP 3: Complete any steps your municipality requires for internal procurement. NYSTEC will help wherever possible.
STEP 4: When the contract is ready, authorize NYSTEC to begin work.
