NYSTEC/NYSDOT Project Nominated For Award

The New York State Department of Transportation’s new 511 Traveler Information System, a project completed with NYSTEC’s assistance, has been named a finalist for the 2010 National Association of State CIOs’ (NASCIO’s) Recognition Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Information Technology. 

NYSTEC President/CEO Mike Donovan commented, “We are proud that NASCIO is considering NYSDOT for this prestigious award. NYSTEC’s specialists assisted the agency with planning, defining requirements, evaluating alternative approaches and procuring the new 511 system.  Just getting nominated for this award is a great honor for any state agency and we are pleased that NYSTEC had the opportunity to contribute to NYSDOT’s success.”
