Maria Ayoob
Practice Leader - Data Insights (Population Health)Maria Ayoob is Practice Leader of the Data Insights (DI) practice. Part of the Population Health Group, the DI practice assists clients in deriving the most value from their data through data quality assessment and improvement activities. The practice also works with clients to define new and innovative uses for clinical data to drive population health insights and improvement.
Maria is an experienced project manager, researcher, and consultant in the healthcare field. She most recently served as the portfolio lead overseeing projects related to health information technology-enabled quality measurement and clinical data quality for the New York State Department of Health. Previously, Maria worked for Health Research, Inc., and provided support as a project facilitator for the Department of Health’s Office of Health Information Technology Transformation, where she managed projects to automate healthcare data exchange.
Maria holds an M.P.H. in Health Policy and Management from the State University of New York (SUNY) Albany, School of Public Health, a B.A. in Anthropology from Smith College and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
