NYSTEC Volunteers at South End Children’s Café in Albany

A lively NYSTEC crew were present for an event at the South End Children’s Café in Albany, NY on Thursday April 13th. These NYSTEC volunteers gave their time to help address the issue of food insecurity, food equality and food justice in a creative way.

The South End Children’s Cafe is an after school program designed to impact food insecurity, address food equality and food justice, enhance academic success and positively influence the physical and mental health of children residing in the South End of Albany.  The program offers free, healthy dinnertime meals along with homework help, academic enrichment, mentoring, exercise and participation in the arts Monday through Friday.

NYSTEC Goes Blue for Autism, 4/7/17

NYSTEC employees at all locations wore their best and brightest blue garb to raise awareness for Autism on Friday, April 7th.  NYSTEC’ers wore blue clothing, accessorized with blue, and even brought in some blue drinks and snacks to share with co-workers. Many pictures were taken that day as NYSTEC was proud to go BLUE for Colin, Brian, Dylan, Maggie, Michael, Matt, Ishaan, Alex, Zach, Drew, Ben, Biboy, Sean and all of our friends and family touched by Autism.
