NYSTEC Helps Prepare and Deliver Thanksgiving Meals In the Capital District

November 19th, November 21st, 2017. NYSTEC took to the kitchen and the streets to help prepare and deliver turkey dinners for the Capital District’s largest annual community event.  The Equinox Thanksgiving Dinner brings home cooked turkey dinners to over 10,000 members of the Capital District community who are alone, homebound or homeless during this holiday season.  Meals are prepared in advance for delivery to locations within 40 miles of Albany and another 500 meals are served at the First Presbyterian Church in Albany.  NYSTEC volunteers chopped vegetables and pulled apart turkeys wearing matching aprons courtesy of NYSTEC’s Community Involvement Committee. On Turkey day, several NYSTEC’ volunteers delivered Thanksgiving meals to families around the Capital District.
